Glass jars are a treated product in accordance with Article 58 of the Regulation on biocidal products (EU) no. 528/2012 (Product type 2: Disinfectants and algaecides not intended for direct use on humans or animals). The outer surface of the glassware is coated with a transparent coating containing the active substance copper(II) sulfate, pentahydrate (CAS: 7758-99-8). The purpose of the treatment is to prevent the growth of microbes on the glass surface until the end of the use of the glassware. This product is not a disinfectant and should be washed properly after each use. No special instructions for use are required for the use of glassware.
